Mechanical anchors rely on expansion force to fix into the base material, while chemical anchors use resin adhesive to bond the anchor to the substrate, providing higher load capacity and flexibility in installation.
Our anchors are available in carbon steel, stainless steel (A2 / A4) and alloy steel. Stainless steel anchors are recommended for outdoor or corrosive environments.
Available finishes include zinc plated, hot-dip galvanized (HDG), mechanical galvanized, black oxide, Dacromet and PTFE coating, depending on corrosion resistance requirements.
Yes. For outdoor or corrosive environments, we recommend hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel anchors (A4 grade) for better corrosion resistance.
